Life Updates

Ok so its been a while. The last couple of weeks have been a blur, not because of anything exciting, but just because. Cameron brought home some flu bug, the week after Alex's birthday, and I was blessed with it Friday and Saturday. YUCK! But so far cross our fingers Alex has stayed healthy. We got our tax return and after the government stiffed us a grand, urgh, we got the north wall in our basement fixed. So now we have what I call a disco wall, because it looks like a big flat disco ball.. They put this plastic wrap stuff up that essentially looks like silver bubble wrap, as a matter of fact I am thinking if I need to put stuff up on the the rest of our walls I could probably do it my self, just get some fancy sliver bubble wrap and some caulk and go to town on the walls. (I am sure it isn't that simple but sure looks like it was) But now we have a sump pump in the basement too which is nice cause hopefully the water will be no more! yea!
Cameron has the bug to finish the basement, over a new bike!!! I know can you believe it? I think it might have something to do with the Geotrax that have taken over the living room, and really it isn't because of Alex it is because I like putting them together and taking them apart and putting them back together. Alex just watches me and says, "Mommy do it! I watch."

On another note, when is the snow going away for good? I am tired of the cold weather! I would much rather have some sun and warm weather for a while. Come on summer! I am getting excited we have a short trip planned to Ohio for a regional gymnastics's meet in April just a few short days after our 3 yr anniversary, for a while I wasn't sure we'd make it there, but now we are back on track and going strong, so I am very thankful for that. This summer is going to be filled with trips I think. I am not so sure that it is going to be a relaxing summer it seems this summer will probably be busy busy busy, but I suppose that is a good thing right? Anyway this was more just rambling than anything else but eh, what do ya do?
